Better Call Saul series with an EHS man

I'm watching this show, and there is a man Chuck, with extreme EHS.

I'm not sure where the show will take it (I'm still starting it)...

They do not depict the problem really correctly, but I think it's interesting that they talk about it.

And some scenes (when he goes to hospital and no doctor understands what is EHS) do remind me of real life...

Have you watched this?

Yes, I've seen every episode of "Better Call Saul".  Hopefully this message won't spoil anything for you.  :-)

I've also listened to all of the behind-the-scenes podcasts from the show's creators.  I get the impression that the creators never really heard of such a thing, and had just made up the condition, only to realize later that the condition had a name (one episode makes it sound like they were quoting from a web page they found for it).

I don't get the impression that the show's creator's ever thought that this was a real condition though, and instead considered it a psychological disorder.  So be prepared for that.

I have NOT listened to any Blu-ray/DVD commentaries, so maybe they say something different in those... ?

I'd probably get too angry watching it, seeing how a show probably financed by the same crowd that is creating the horribly life-limiting condition is misrepresenting it to give the general population a fiction that covers the reality of what they are facilitating (audiences likely hooked on wireless tech).

They leave us so desperate for validation or recognition that they expect us to take the poisoned crumbs they throw at us. Ah, I'll pass no thank you.

Not suggesting you guys to watch it for that reason...

I guess Marc is right, they didn't really know about the condition well.

But they depict the guy running around with these emergency blankets, to create a sort of Faraday cage.

He orders anyone entering the house to put the cell phones, watches etc in the mail box (also a Faraday cage).

You haven't spoiled anything, Marc, I'll continue following the series.
I like it, it somehow helps to explain the next series, Breaking Bad, that was one of the best series I ever seen.

No reference to EHS there though!

I still find they depict the character in a sort of respectful way, so far. Even though it does look like a psycho.

But we all do, anyway!!! for other people around us. :)
