I agree with Marc.
I would also go for organic.
GMO foods destroy the good gut bacteria (because they put pesticides in their genes!!!), and change their DNAs.
Avoid corn, soya, then, even the organic ones in the US seem to have been contaminated.
Here in Europe, I still hope they are good...
Again, thinking about old ways people used to eat will help.
Our grandparents did not consume a lot of animal protein. Very rarely, in very limited amounts. Dr RAu from Paracelsus say that we don't need more than 60 grams of protein a day!
He said that we CANNOT process more than that. We are not made to process all these proteins, and that makes the body acidic, meaning, it will facilitate growth of pathogens, cancer cells, cardio vascular diseases, bone/ joint diseases, brain diseases, etc....
Our over-protein diets is also bad.
Going organic - only organic, preferable grass fed as said Marc - will make us reduce consumption already. They are much more expensive and harder to find!
I find that buying organic is already a way to reduce amount of animal protein in its own.
