BLOCKING MAGNETIC FIELD WITH FOIL IN WINDOWS

debbie4god39
Hi all,

I'm trying to put some layers of aluminum foil on boxboard in my windows....have two questions--how many layers would be best of Reymolds wrap, anyone know, lol, wasn't in the commercials!

Also, does it matter if the reflective side is out or not?

Hope to hear back soon, in the middle of doing it  :)

thanks!

Debbie

Aluminum foil does not offer any shielding for magnetic fields.
For RF, it does not matter which side.

Oh geez. I've been blocking my fridge between couch and computer electrical so I guess to no avail.  Loni

I think the Mac Mini is the best choice. i bought the $799 model and as long as I'm 6 inches or so away from it I'm fine (meter confirms no hot zone). Also, it gives off no chemical smell and is silent.
