Apple bluetooth wireless keyboard versus Apple wired keyboard

achoohoo
Hello,

I don't have any electromagnetic sensitivity that I'm aware of however I do have some other chronic health conditions (ME and MCS) and am mindful not to risk further complications to my health.  I would like to buy an Apple wireless keyboard that works with a bluetooth connection on my iMac, and maybe get a wireless mouse, so that I have more desk space and no messy wires.  I am a little bit concerned about EM radiation.  Reading a WHO report it seems that radiation levels from wireless computer peripherals are very low, but the greater risk may be from the bluetooth module in the computer which is about 50cm from my head.  Does anyone have any experience or advice on this?

Many thanks,

Bob

Well, for people with electromagnetic sensitivities, we usually advise to
eliminate everything that is wireless, and use the wired alternatives
instead.  So I would think that would include Bluetooth, although maybe
someone with some actual experience with this will have something to
say (I used a wired keyboard + mouse).

Hi Bob,

NoRad has a video on youtube showing measuring of bluetooth:

Even those without electrical sensitivities get cancer, but without the
warning we are getting, like the canary in the coal mine. Eliminate
wireless whereever possible, not just for yourself, but for others
around you too.

My new iMac came with a wireless mouse and keyboard.  It was some trouble, but I was able to purchase wired options through a separate Mac store.  Neither takes up more room than the wireless version and the wires are gathered at the slack parts and tied off and head away from my hands to the computer, anyway.

I feel so much better about this arrangement and it makes me sad that all new products come wireless.  My sister just got a new laptop and told me she has a wireless mouse because that is how it came.  Arghh.  I will get her a wired one.  Wireless is the default now.
