Anyone know the 3rd salt for this detox bath protocol?

Elysia Drew
Hi, all. My friend Helen told me of a CA woman who had EHS & healed herself using detox baths, supposedly similar to the ones I have to take for Lyme. She told me it was 30 days of baths, 1 per day, alternating  the salt used each day. She can't remember the 3rd salt, & can't contact the friend who has a more thorough understanding of it. It was epsom salts 1 day, baking soda another day, but IDK what the 3rd one is, or what QUANTITIES of each salt I should use for a full-sized bath. I'm wondering if this is a Hulda Clark thing, but I looked up everything I could & can't find it. Suggestions/ideas welcome. Thanks very much :)

Hi,

Sea Salt is often recommended for detox baths because of its mineral content.  I would suspect Himalayan Salt would also be a good option for the same reason, but would be much more costly.  I've found sea salt at a local dollar store - 36 ounces for $1.00.  The recipes I've seen recommend sea salt and baking soda using one cup of each.  Hope that helps!

Re: Anyone know the 3rd salt for this detox bath protocol?

Patricia
the cheap, white, sparkly 'sea salt' is only sodium chloride,
like table salt.  salt in the US is mined for the precious
minerals - they are removed and sold to the pharmaceutical
industry - and we are fed the dregs.  in real salt, there is
calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, and a
hundred other minerals.  himalayan has about 84.  i
would not bathe in sodium chloride.  i would recreate the
seawater environment, because that is what heals.
compared to going to see an MD and taking medicines,
a pound of real sea salt, full spectrum sea salt, is cheap.
i hope this helps.
love, patricia

In reply to this post by Elysia Drew
Few yrs ago I read on Curezone.com people recommended adding H2O2 to
detox bath or s shower (3% concentration)
Care must be taken using H2O2 as high concentration burns your skin &
definitely no contact with eyes.
I have not tried H2O2 it as  is prohibitively expensive in UK but it's
fairly cheap in US?
I have only tried Epsom salt (1 to 2 cups ) in bath,  I know some people
add 1 lb of  Himalayan salt in her daily bath as her husband is the salt
importer!!
I would use Epsom salt or  sea salt or H2O2  in my daily bath if I can
afford them!!
I think it doesn't matter so much whether you have to alternate them as
many sources would just use one of the items all the time.

Below I copied & pasted from a web site yrs ago  ( similar info
http://curezone.org/forums/fm.asp?i=1050403#i )
Alkalizing Baths that Detoxify Acids!
These baths may pull huge amounts of toxins and acids out of your body
fats into your lymphatic system, but if you do not take a cold shower at
the end, you may overload the body with too many toxins and acids which
it is trying to get rid of and make yourself feel worse.
The ideal way is to start of slow, with a shorter soak time and build
up. I suggest you start with 10 minutes and build up to 30 minutes.
There are a few baths that I will add here that can truly help to
alkalize you and start the removal of acidic wastes from the body.
Sometimes you will feel invigorated and sometimes you will feel drained.
You can do these as often as you want. You may also try these as foot
baths, which may be particularly effective if you have any problems with
the lower half of the body. Do not attempt these baths until you have
read ALL the notes below! Thank you!
BATH 1 with H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide):* 2-3 cups of Epsom Salts
(Magnesium Sulphate) - approx 2 lbs* 1-2 cups of Sodium Bicarbonate
(Baking Soda) - approx 1 lb* Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) - 1 pint of 3%
solution OR 1.5 ounces of 35% solution - **please check safety notes
below**
Run a hot bath and add all your ingredients apart from the H2O2 - add
that at the end and swirl it into the bath. You want to SWEAT!! Try and
stay as submerged as possible but do NOT get the water into your
eyes. After 10-30 minutes, take a freezing cold shower for 1 minute, or
however long it takes for you to cool down.
BATH 2 with Calcium Hydroxide* 2-3 cups of Magnesium sulphate(Epsom
Salts)* 1-2 tablespoons of Calcium hydroxide Powder (MUST be diluted
first - place the CH powder in a gallon of water to make sure it's
dispersed, please check notes below) **Please read safety notes below**
Run a hot bath and add all your ingredients. You want to SWEAT!! You
WILL sweat! Try and stay as submerged as possible but do NOT get the
water into your eyes.I would not recommend this bath to those that have
chronic disease because it is so powerful - wait till you are a little
stronger.
After 10-30 minutes take a freezing cold shower for 1 minute, or however
long it takes for you to cool down. This is essential! (Please read
health notes below).BATH 3 with Apple Cider Vinegar* 2-3 cups of
Magnesium sulphate(Epsom Salts)* 2 Cups of Apple Cider Vinegar
Run a hot bath and add all your ingredients. You want to SWEAT!! Try and
stay as submerged as possible. This bath is great for those with skin
problems such as eczema or acne. It's fanatastic for those who have dry,
itchy skin conditions. It also helps edema/swelling. It's a great bath
for those who have too much sodium in their body, as the high potassium
content of the ACV is an antonist for sodium. After 10-30 minutes take a
freezing cold shower for 1 minute, or however long it takes for you to
cool down. This is essential! (Please read health notes
below).VARIATIONS:**If you can, skin brush before getting into the bath
- this starts lymphatic movement and will help you detoxify more.
**If you're really brave and want to open up your pores more, take 50mg
of Niacin B3 (you MUST get the flush version). Take this on an empty
stomach 10 minutes before getting into the bath. Your body will flush
red and you will feel your skin is prickly, the sensation should last
30-60 minutes, but this is a really powerful way to sweat and open up
your pores for more efficient detoxification. You can combine this with
skin brushing.
** You can add some kelp as minerals if you have skin problems (but
you'll stink!!)
** you can also add oregano oil, cayenne pepper, ginger powder ... all
are wonderful at creating more sweat and heat.** You can spray your body
(avoid eyes) a few minutes before and staright after the bath with 3%
Hydrogen peroxide, and that will help to alkalize you even moreFor those
who do not have a bath at home, you have options of doing alkalizing
foot baths or alkalizing showers.**********Alkalizing Foot Baths that
Detoxify Acids!
The foot baths are particularly effective if you have any problems with
the lower half of the body or need to start alkalizing slower because of
chronic ill health. Please refer to all notes and safety data as
highlighted in the Alkalizing Baths page before continuing. For all the
footbaths, you want a very hot water, as hot as you can handle. It will
be useful to have a kettle or flask with hot water handy so you can pour
more hot water into the foot bath should it get cold. You want another
foot bath with ice cold water in (add some ice cubes!)You soak for
several minutes in the hot, then alternate with cold for a minute and
continue alternating like this several times. Take around 30 minutes of
soaking for full benefits. Always end with cold.FOOT BATH 1 with H2O2
(Hydrogen Peroxide):* 4 Tablespoons Epsom Salts (Magnesium Sulphate) * 2
Tablespoons of Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) * Hydrogen Peroxide
(H2O2) - half to 1 pint of 3% solution OR 0.75 - 1.5 ounces of 35%
solutionFOOT BATH 2 with Calcium Hydroxide* 4 tablespoons of Magnesium
sulphate (Epsom Salts)* 1 tablespoon of Calcium hydroxide Powder (MUST
be diluted first)FOOT BATH 3 with Apple Cider Vinegar* 4 Tablespoons of
Magnesium sulphate (Epsom Salts)* 1 cup of Apple Cider
Vinegar**************Alkalizing ShowersA very simple way to alkalize the
whole body! This will help anyone who is having problems of too much
Acidity, and may especially help those who are having any Candida and or
Yeast and or fungus problems.
Get yourself a spray bottle and get some 3% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide
(or 1.5 oz of 35% Hydrogen Peroxide diluted with 1 pint of distilled
water) and put this into a spray bottle, Before you take a bath and or
shower, mist this 3% Hydrogen Peroxide over your body (make sure not to
get it into your eyes!!!), and leave it on for approx. 3 min before
taking your bath or shower.
Then after bathing, spray another light mist on your body and let air
dry, do not get in your eyes and use a white towel to finish drying off,
because it may bleach out a color towel!

This will help Alkalize all of the surface of your skin.Hydrogen
Peroxide carries Extra Oxygen (H2O2 = H2O + O)
Oxygen is a Strong Oxidizer.
A Strong Oxidizer neutralizes much Acidity.
When a person has an Acidic Body, this means that most of the complete
body is floating in an Acid Bath.
The reason for this is because of the Lymphatic system, it covers the
complete body.
So when the Lymphatic system is Acidic and it is all over in the body,
then hthis method affects the Greatest Surface area of the body, so will
get the greatest benefit in the shortest time period.
You treat the complete outer surface of the body and this may provide
you with the Greatest Surface area for the most rapid response!
This may be WHY any good soak bath may provide the quickest results, if
you use the proper products!
You may do a soak bath or you may do shower baths, depending on your
mood and what you have available.
The body operates by the Acid Alkaline pH Balancing principles, so this
means that if the body is too Acidic, then you must do something to
counter this so you may feel better, it is all about Generating the
proper Electrical Energy Release and in this case the OXYGEN just so
happens to provide Excellent results against most any Acids.
So one may look at the excess acids as an enemy or one may look at the
excess acids as a way to Generate more Electrical Energy!

Hud J O Ramelan
You can get Epsom Salt at Walmart in USA for about $1 per pound if you buy the 50 lb bag, which is not too bad if you used 1 lb per day or doubled up every other day.
