As a member of the Yahoo Electrosensitive mail list, I know you are all aware of how frequencies affect our health. Therefore, I would like to inform anyone from Seattle, Washington or King County that your presence is needed at Seattle City Council Chambers Monday and Thursday, September 15 and 18, 2014 to stand up against the deployment of wireless smart utility meters in Seattle. If you need to learn more about the smart meter issue, please watch the award winning documentary by Josh del Sol, called "Take Back Your Power" at takebackyourpower.net
There are safer wired alternatives. Fiber Optic Smart Meters are being used in Tacoma that do not emit hazardous radiation. ![]() ANNOUNCEMENT: The fight to stop "smart" meters is on and we need your support. On Sept. 15 and Sept 18, Seattle City Council has two important meetings scheduled on this issue. We need to pack the council chamber with concerned individuals (wear red as a show of solidarity and also as a symbol of the fire danger from smart meters). If the Council sees that the large numbers of the public are watching closely, they are more likely to listen and heed our testimony. Here's what's happening: On Monday September 15 @ 2:30 pm, Seattle City Light will be presenting their case for installing "smart" (digital radio-frequency emitting) electricity meters on every home and business in their service area. They have been directed by the Council to specifically address public privacy and health concerns. It is pretty much a given that they will be dragging out their hired experts to dismiss and marginalize our concerns. Nonetheless, it is still very important to let them know that "We The People" are watching carefully, and to offer whatever public comments that time allows. The entire hearing is televised on Seattle Channel, available for later viewing by all members of the public. Note: The 2:30 p.m. scheduled start time is approximate. On Thursday September 18 @ 11:30 am, the "Safe Utility Meters Alliance NW" (SUMA-NW) will be presenting arguments against Seattle City Light's current plans. This will be an informative and educational presentation for everyone - whether you've been following this issue closely for years, or are just beginning to study it. If you can make it to only one meeting, please come to this one, and again, please wear red if possible. Location: Both meetings will be held in City Council Chambers, 600 4th Ave., 2nd floor. Seattle activists have a history of turning the tide in global struggles where the rights of individuals are threatened by corporatocracy. Thanks for your support!
