Hi folks:
I am writing this largely because I remember that Marc has shared with us the fact that his cats seem to be very sensitive to many field-effect/area treatment devices marketed for the amelioration of some adverse effects from EMF, wherein his cats seem to become uncomfortable or even ill and start urinating everywhere in the house. First, I will share with you an odd story about some EMF area treatment devices and my cat, and then ask if anyone else has seen anything similar with their cats or other pets, or even with any pet humans... About two months ago, I received here at my home office and lab an "industrial strength" area treatment device from a specialty/niche vendor for some R&D work; it has been sitting in my lab (located in my home) ever since, and has been turned on for much, but not all, of the time. Shortly thereafter, I received a second such industrial strength device from a second specialty/niche vendor, again for some R&D work in my lab, and it too has been turned on for much, but not all of the time. Both of the devices in question are devices which are available on the commercial market for use in various specialized industrial or technical settings; neither is marketed for human use, and neither vendor claims effets upon humans or animals, but rather only effects upon computers and other specialized electronic equipment. Neither product is at all well-known in the general ES field, as the devices are marketed only to very specailized niche industrial/technical sector markets and nowhere else. Same for the producers/vendors; neither is at all known outside their niche field. About two weeks after the first device arrived here, my wife and I noticed that my 12 year old cat (who has been a lively, friendly, slender, fit and very healthy cat so far) had started drinking lots of water -- lots more than usual -- and was urinating at least twice per hour, making her kitty litter box a bit of a mud box in short order and necessitating somewhat more frequent changes of her soaking-wet kitty litter (I normally only change kitty litter about 3 times per year, due to the fact that I inoculate the kitty litter with beneficial microbes which eat the waste and destroy any odors, and also due to the fact that I run one of my Coherent Space antioxidant/deodorizing field effect devices running in our home 24 hours per day; this seems to help prevent putrefactive decay and odor in the kitty litter.) At about the same time, her appetite decreased markedly, and she started eating much less food. Strangely, despite the fact that she had become a bit of a water-processing factory, and despite her reduced food intake, she otherwise seemed to remain in perfect health, maintaning her slender weight and remaining very healthy, happy, comfortable and frisky. At first glance, this water-guzzling-and-frequent-peeing phenomena might perhaps be seen as a symptom of feline diabetes, but she shows none of the other symptoms of feline diabetes such as gross overweight, nor underweight nor wakenes, lethargy or excessive sleeping. In fact, she seems healthier and happier and more energetic than ever, despite the fact that she pees (in large volumes) about twice per hour and eats very little food. About the ONLY correlation I can make with the onset of her symptoms is the arrival at my home/lab of the two industrial-strength EMF area treatment devices, and so, I cannot help but wonder if her symptoms are due to some kind of exaggerated cleansing or stimulant effect due to one or both of the the industrial-strength devices. And so, my question for you all: have any of you ever noticed increased water intake, coupled with increased frequency and volume of urination, and/or dreastic reduction in appetite and food intake, in any of your household pets (i.e., cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, ferrets, humans, etc.) which you can correlate with the use of any EMF area treatment devices? Thanks in advance! with care, --Vinny Vinny Pinto [hidden email] phone 301-694-1249 To see my informational websites and e-mail list groups, please go to: http://www.vinnypinto.us |
Hi folks:
Just a minor errata: In my previous email (below), the last phrase in a sentence at the 75% mark in the third paragraph reads: "...nor underweight nor wakenes, lethargy or excessive sleeping." There was a typo or two in there, and that phrase should read: "...nor underweight nor weakness, lethargy nor excessive sleeping." with care, --Vinny --------- my earlier message: --------- Hi folks: I am writing this largely because I remember that Marc has shared with us the fact that his cats seem to be very sensitive to many field-effect/area treatment devices marketed for the amelioration of some adverse effects from EMF, wherein his cats seem to become uncomfortable or even ill and start urinating everywhere in the house. Yes, those large-radius devices have been banned from the house! I've found that I can get away with one Quantum power strip (not 2), plus a small Springlife polarizer. The cats seem to actually *like* "personal polarizers" http://adermark.com/store/products.php?session=&productid=651 (my sister also has reported that these help her chronic back pain) As for increased thirst/decreased appetite, I can't really recall anymore, as most of these sorts of problems occurred years ago. I've certainly observed increased thirst and urination in the litterbox in the past, but these things have also been caused by hot summer days, or our rather unpredictable diabetic cat. (this cat's energy levels shot through the roof when I was experimenting with the Earthcalm plug-in unit) Marc |
Hi Marc:
Thanks for your additional reports! Well, at this point, I have no reason to believe that what we are seeing with my cat is anything other than a major detoxification or cleansing reaction, as she seems very healthy and energetic, and, in fact, is more perky and energitc than normal, and at least all her urination is being done in the kitty litter box. And, of course, as I mentioned earlier, since I use beneficial microbes in the kitty box, there is no odor problem, even though the kitty litter is rather damp much of the time. with care, --Vinny At 03:09 PM 11/15/2006, you wrote: > > I am writing this largely because I remember that Marc has shared > > with us the fact that his cats seem to be very sensitive to many > > field-effect/area treatment devices marketed for the amelioration of > > some adverse effects from EMF, wherein his cats seem to become > > uncomfortable or even ill and start urinating everywhere in the > > house. > >Yes, those large-radius devices have been banned from the house! >I've found that I can get away with one Quantum power strip (not >2), plus a small Springlife polarizer. > >The cats seem to actually *like* "personal polarizers" > > http://adermark.com/store/products.php?session=&productid=651 > >(my sister also has reported that these help her chronic back >pain) > >As for increased thirst/decreased appetite, I can't really >recall anymore, as most of these sorts of problems occurred >years ago.
