Alasdair Phillips re. computers

Alasdair Phillips of Powerwatch says:

Look out for the 2005
DELL Inspiron range of
laptops which come with a three-pin mains cable and
earthed adaptor and do not emit electric fields.

The biggest risk to computer users comes from
broadband systems that
allow 'wireless access' and in doing so fill your house with
pulsating microwave radiation at all times.

I was just reading on How Stuff Works that LIGHT ITSELF has
electromagnetic radiation.

So my question is - how is it possible for any LCD (Dell or
whichever) not to have electric fields? After all, it's lighted,
isn't it?

I'm confused.

Perhaps he meant that it doesn't emit as much 60 hz/50 hz fields?
You're right -- it cannot emit *no* fields, and it definitely is
still going to emit most of the fields that every laptop does.
