Air Flow Hands Free Kit

T&S Parker
Has anyone tried the "Air Flow" Hands Free Kit for cell phones to see if it
really does block the radiation from coming through? Here is the website:
http://www.lessemf.com/cellphon.html#HandsFree

Thanks,

Tom and Susan

Hi Tom & Susan,

This device is designed to reduce your exposure to the phone speaker's
EM field, and the rest of the phone's emissions, by creating distance
between it and your ear/body. It does not shield you from the phone's
radiation.

It works in the same way that it's easier to hear someone at a
distance speaking into a tube while you're listening at the other end
-- the sound energy is mainly forced to travel down the tube instead
of dissipating in all directions.

If you have to use a cell phone, it is definitely a good idea to use
something like this to reduce your exposure. But you won't get away
from all of it.

You can get a basic idea of how much exposure reduction you're getting
due to distance by imagining one of the phone's energy bursts as an
expanding spherical bubble. The bubble is centered on the phone and
all the burst's energy is carried in the bubble's thin surface. When
the bubble is small the energy is more concentrated. After the bubble
has expanded further, the amount of energy that was emitted is now
spread out over a larger surface area. Anything touching the bubble
when it is small (e.g., when the phone is close to your head/body)
gets more energy per unit of area than when the bubble has been given
time and distance to expand.
