skin resistance

franspppp

It would help 'Self declared electrosensitive' if there was an
objective diagnose procedure.

Do you think the measurement of skin resistance (e.g. a fixed
procedure of x measurements under y circumstances of z skin points)
would be a possibility?

Are there any normalised ways to measure skin resistance?

I found two websites where a radiƫsthesist and a natural healer both
write that their patients always have a low skin resistance.

It is a bit tricky because skin resistance varies from 100.000 to
20.000/30.000 Ohm and goes down to 500 or even 100 Ohm by a shower or
sweating. Also different skin points have different resistances.
Nevertheless it is thinkable that the outcome of a fixed procedure
could correlate e.g. 95% with 'self declared electro-sensitivity'.

Could a low skin resistance indeed always be correlated to
'electrosensitivity' and a high skin resistance to 'no symptoms, no
compaints of e.m. fields'?

Are there any scientists/biologists/medical researchers actively
investigating skin resistance?

Re: skin resistance

stichting milieuziektes
Hello,

with our building-biological house investigations, we always measure the
body tension (according the SBM2003).
This takes place on the bed.
It gives a good impression of the influence of the bed.
However, it does not give an impression of the overall state of
electrosensibility of the persons.
I found high values as well as low values with electrosensible persons.

The only way of determining the skin resistance is with electroacupuncture.
IMHO.

See the 'Medical Facilities for ES' category under the eSens Links
section. There are two facilities listed there that test for and
treat ES. I myself have obtained a medical diagnosis of ES at the
Environmental Health Center - Dallas through EM exposure testing and
concomittant body response measurements.

Beau,
Just curious. What form of treatment did they prescribe in Dallas for your ES?
