greetings -
i've been reading the posts on the site but not posting b/c i'm too emf sensitive to be online that long. i thoroughly enjoyed the recent posts about diet, and agree from my own experience...although i'm wondering about the sea salt, which i eat a ton of now! i also eat a lot of kale, and suppose that's high in calcium...? i would love to be online longer and am hoping for suggestions re: products that can help. what is the best polarizer and where to buy? what about the computer itself (i have lcd screen and that helps). my hands get numb, my head hurts, and i get HUNGRY when i'm online. the hunger is triggered by all emf exposures - maybe more of an anxious hunger than actual thank for any help! jill [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

I buy mine at: http://products.bioharmonics.com/polarizers/polmodels.htm And if ordering by phone is easier for you than ordering online, then you can order by phone with the contact information on this page: http://home.bioharmonics.com/aboutbh/contact.htm As for which model is the best, I think it'd be best to start with the smallest model (the lifeforce pendant) and see if that helps. If so, then you can add larger models if needed. I wear one of the smaller ones almost all the time, and add a larger one when using the computer. But you'd have to experiment and see. If you want a better idea of how large these polarizer are, here is a photo I took of mine: http://ufoseries.com/polarizers.jpg Marc |

Hi Jill,
"and i get HUNGRY when I'm on line" I also tend to crave carbohydrates when I am on the computer for long periods of time. I believe that EMF stimulates the production of Adrenalin, which in itself needs to be fed. So that bit makes sense. I try eating more protein based foods (Jalna Yogurt, with blueberries and mixed nuts is a great one for easing the Computer hunger pangs :-) The EMF adrenalin connection was mentioned to me by a friend here in Sydney. I thought about it and from my experience it makes a lot of sense. I and people I know get irritable in EMF fields. (or if not irritable, then more aware, and with more energy). I used to bounce around the rooms after spending time on the computer and then drinking coffee or coke.. Of course I used to have 22 amalgam fillings - I have none now and am getting much less sensitivity to Electrical fields, although I still feel Mobile phone/TV and large fields generating devices, but not so much the general household wiring etc. I still get a whistle or humming sounds at night - my wife hears it too, we have a meter box outside or bedroom, but had it shielded with a mu-metal derivative. It also makes sense that EMF may be a contributor to Road Rage and other such spontaneous outbursts. Cars have large amounts of EMF - depending on the car in question. And when you burn too much adrenalin, Your adrenal glands may burn out and you can get symptoms of chronic fatigue and other such things. Anyhow, make sure your computer system is as far away from your seat/desk as possible - get keyboard and mouse and monitor extender cables and move it at least 2 meters away - thats what I have done and it helps a lot. Also try to get a mouse that does not have too much inducted voltage (my Microsoft Optical mouse measured 15Va - and was causing pains in my hand similar to carpal tunnel but the other side of the hand. I swapped it for an old IBM mouse (from an intellistaion - 3 button) which measured 3Va and this helped reduce the pain greatly. Earthing via an earthed mouse mat is a good idea, although I have never done it - it involves putting a metal stake into the garden outside the window and passing a wire through the window - literally earthing the mat..! I also found computer noise (and crickets) annoyed me intensely so bought an Antech Sonata case for my computer to make it quieter, and a low noise Zalman fan for the PSU and a Zalman heat pipe for the Video card. If you dont need the latest whiz bang computer you can probably get most parts of the computer to work reliably without fans. Also the PSU's on some computers (actually the Zalmans) put out a HUGE emf field (like 2 meters radius) whereas the Antech is pretty good. I have been through a great deal of info on EMF and while I have become less sensitive, I would like to be completely free of it. I worry greatly about levels of electro smog in this world we are bringing our children up in.. Hi Pete
I still haven't got around to posting you a sample of the Chia, but this week has been very expensive for me so it'll have to wait a bit. I will do it eventually though. I also tend to get pretty hungry in front of the computer, and I often craved chocolate (I later found that the chocolate I craved contained a large amount of potassium, which I thought might be an indicator of potassium deficiency, though there is also the caffeine/addiction factor) we have a meter box outside or bedroom, but had it shielded with a mu-metal derivative. Where in Australia did you get the MuMetal derivative. I did contact a company out your way but they never got back to me, though apparently their product comes from Japan and is a lot cheaper than actual MuMetal, which mostly seems to come from the states. I'm also interested to know who installed your shield at the meter box? It also makes sense that EMF may be a contributor to Road Rage and other such spontaneous outbursts. Cars have large amounts of EMF - depending on the car in question. I also often get very stressed and irritated in the car. I also found computer noise (and crickets) annoyed me intensely I find the same thing, and I think it is the fan in my computer (which is now 3 metres away from me. Cheers Lachlan |

I seem to remember reading somewhere that sensitivity to noise is a
symptom of potassium deficiency........and chocolate does have high potassium...lso hormone boosters - not sure which- one thing yet to be discussed on this list is the disruption of the endocrine system which would be behind sleep problems but also mood swings etc.. Other changing traits I have noticed since mobile phone infrastructure
has been switched on, apart from road rage, are dog attacks. There seems to be at least one a month. Also the growing rate of heart attacks in the young and in children, arthritis, ditto. The most widespread and clear cut development though has to be the huge leap in dementia sufferers, and this is also affecting people much younger. I have the Alzheimers Australia Report 2003 this claims that there is now an epidemic in Australia - and colleagues O/S say it is the same , at least in the US. I don't think that this is only due to the aging population either. The figures are: a 62% increase in the past decade! Also: whale beachings in Australia, and the failure of many carrier pigeons both here and overseas to arrive at their destinations. Dear Jill,
My symptom picture seems close to yours. I have benefitted from homeopathic cell salts as well. And Bi-vitamin complex, fatty oils and frequent protein meals as well. I also crave sea salts, there is plenty of documentation showing that many persons should it more salt. Not of the cheap NaCl type but pure sea salt due to the many different minerals within. You might want to check for acidity/low pH as well. You can get extension wires for the computer and place it next room. And also, I benefitted from turning off the background illumination on my LCD, as this is fluorescent lightning with mercury in it as well. Dear Nickolaj, Jill and Mark
I have flagged up the Bioguard Pendants or as Jill listed them a magnatech Pendant a number of times because I know they have helped thousands of pepole but we sell and promote by word of mouth and so are not a BIG name - I would like to be bigger of course but only because it would mean more people were being protected from some of the symptoms of EMF. The Bioguard is based on bioresonance and tests carried out in a clinical trial have shown exceptionally good results. The report can be read on www.radiationresearch.org This charity also benefits by a £1 donation everytime a Biophone or bioguard is purchased. The products come with a 100% money back guarantee if they have not helped after 3 months and recognising the fact that after two to five years they will start to reduce their effeciency a new bioguard or biophone will be supplied at half price when you want one( the old product and receipt have to be returned as well!) Anyway enough of an advert! There is a discount for any ESens members who want to try one of these 10% off RRP. All I can say is they have worked for me and hundreds of others I know personally, and with amazing results in kinesiology tests. All the best everyone. When I've been to a place with high electrosmog levels (university, shops, etc) my bloodsugar gets unstable and when I drive back home I have to control my temper as I tend to get agressive. This could be the mechanism: * EMF alters calcium metabolism in/out of cells (calcium channels, influx, outflux) * The pancreas beta cells pump insulin with calcium influx * Too much insulin is pumped in the blood --> Hyperinsulinism * Blood sugar levels plumet: Hypoglycemia * Due to excess insulin, the alpha cells in the pancreas can't pump the sugar-raising hormone glucagon in the blood (insulin and glucagon are antagonistic) * Just before the blood sugar levels drop below the levels needed for consciousness (just before a coma), the adrenals pump adrenalin in the blood and the liver raises the blood sugar level * Because of high adrenalin levels in the blood, the person feels agitated, flight-fight, agressive and uneasy. Perhaps the adrenals are upset by the EMF to produce/pump adrenalin in the blood also, but I think the above mechanism is what happens too. Hi Ed,
Excellent - thanks for all that interesting info.. In the meantime I have come across a mix of vitamins which seems to have a good effect on my sensitivity and general well being (remember that I am much less sensitive than I was, and I am not proposing this will help anyone else, it was a random selection one night :-) but I do feel better after 3 days of taking this lot, and have no idea why.. 1x1000mg fish oil (Gel capsule) (Omega 3 complex from Nutraway (amway! eek) 1x1000mg Super Spirulena (EnerVite Brand from Coles in Australia) 1x1000mg Evening Primrose Oil (Gel capsule) (cold pressed from Microgenics in Australia) 1x1000mg Vitamin E (Gel capsule) (from Microgenics in Australia) ....and lastly, something I added for cold symptoms 1x1400mg Garlic + C + Horsradish, Fengreek and Marsmallow (Natures way Australia) The first time I took this lot, I had started exersizing (not a lot but a bit) each morning. I took these at lunchtime after food, with water. About 2 hours later a deep sense of calm, or order, or peace came over me. Weird I thought, but it was quite natural and very nice after all the 'buzzing' type of claustraphobic feelings I had been getting (even if low level now compared to last year). I tried it the next day, same thing and today - same again although not as noticable. If anyone wants to explain why this might be that would be great, and if you want to try it go for it - I would appreciate any comments if you do.. Please dont think I am qualified to recommend this stuf - I am just letting you know what happened for me, in the hope that someone might explain why, or it may help someone else who is a bit frazzled. This is a great forum - thanks all for your valuable contributions. Cheers Pete [hidden email] wrote: > On Mon, 24 May 2004 19:21:53 +1000, Benson, Sarah (Sen L. Hi Lachlan,
No worries re the chia seeds - I'd e happy to buy some if that helps! I bought the mu-metal derivative from Gary Melick in Melbourne. http://www.magshield.com.au/ he knows his stuff re shielding (does it for a living for corporates and such.) (tangent time! - I just found a great primer reEMF from a power company.. its a nice intro.. - http://www.xcelenergy.com/docs/corpcomm/00-11-009EMFbroch_v1.pdf) Re EMF fields - I bought a trifield emf/va meter from the US.. it is great and not to expensive.. from http://www.LessEmf.com model "50Hz Trifield Meter (Cat. #P150-60)" - they do an Australian one (50Hz) that you need to ask for specifically. They were very helpfull on the phone and I got my meter very quickly (4 days?).
