Question on different herbs used for detox

perla1133

Hello,

Various supplements I take/teas i drink/herbs i incorporate in my
diet are warned against here. You all seem to agree on cilantro. I
read it takes heavy metals out of the brain, after which spirulina
would be a good replacement. You do not like that one here.

Cilantro binds to heavy metals. Why not also try Holy
basil/spirulina, green tea (fluor)? Does the fact they contain the
stuff we wanna get rid off mean we should avoid them or that they
bind to the very substances we wanna get rid off(have a way
of "dealing" them for themselves) and will continue to do this in
the body??

Have giving up of getting through this on the knowledge path, but
those who have not, please try to understand/consider/explore my
question here.

Well, everyone seems to react differently to things -- if you are
having a good reaction to something we warn against, then you
should continue taking it.

Even me, who put out a warning on spirulina and chlorella, consume
this stuff pretty regularly. But only in limited amounts, and usually
its mixed in with other stuff, part of a "superfood" mix. This
seems to make a difference for me.

It is a great question. Dr. Huggins had negative things to say about
Chlorella.
It has something to do with it turning inorganic mercury into
methyl-mercury which is much more toxic. Candida does the same thing in
order to gain energy from the reaction and process.
I could be totally wrong on this and need to reread those sections
again to be totally sure.
I drink a glass of Green Food every day. I know of someone that has
been taking Alpha Sun and Omega Sun for years and her metal tests are
nil.
The jury is still out on this for me. Looking forward to hearing more
info from the group.

Green 8

Hi all,

So I bought a couple of the Green 8 items from

http://radiationprotector.com

I ordered a small one (cellphone sized) and a pendant sized one.

Unfortunately, they didn't send me the pendant one I wanted -- instead,
they sent a "food" treatment item which is about the same size. I held
this one in my hands for a few minutes, and could quickly tell that
this one and me were not going to get along. It was like my body
was shutting down -- I felt weakness in my arms, didn't feel well, etc.
So that one is no good.

As for the cellphone sized one, I'll try that next.

One thing's for sure -- they've got some fancy marketing and packaging.
I got some color brochures, and an hour long VCD (video CD) featuring
a TV commercial, plus a press conference showing people being EAV
tested while using cellphones both with and without a small green 8
in the battery compartment.

But good marketing aside, so far it doesn't look good for these items...

No I haven't, but I thought I'd try them out anyway -- I've
tried almost every other EMF protection device, after all... :-)

Okay, I've tried out the cellphone ("small") Green 8 near
my computer at home. I find that this has a similarly
"bad energy" as the larger "food" model, although not
as strong. It's still surprisingly strong though, especially
considering that this looks like a harmless small
piece of clear plastic! I tried putting it about
5 feet away from me, then 10 feet away, and I could
still sense the bad energy coming from it. As for how
to describe it, that would be a bit difficult, but
I guess if the Springlife polarizers attract "life
force energy", I would say that the Green 8's attract
"death force energy". :-)

According to Green 8's marketing, they have 3 million
of these things in use around the world. I find that
hard to believe that this is so popular, especially
considering how little there is about it on the web.

Also, the Green 8's failed my "cat test". The cat
test is simple -- if the cat's start peeing all
around the house, that means the EMF protection
device has no place in my house. In the 3 days
since I've had these in the house, I've had to
clean up 2 "accidents" (it's been months since
I've had to clean up a previous accident)

Re: Green 8

Dear marc,

As new to these EMF considerations, I have a question. It is known that EMF decreases rapidly with distance, there for if you stand next to a television or refegerator, stepping one step away would usually be enough to minimize EMF considerably. If not, then two steps, that's all. If you feel EMF five feet away, you must have a very strong EMF omission from somewhere, from a line outside the house perhaps, or a phone antenna. I got a monitor which I used to eliminate these factor when I chose where to live. If your house is not contaminated by any very large source of EMF, then the problem is really in close contact with smaller sources, the computer, the phone, television, etc. Then, either you should move a house, or this gadget actually increases the small omissions, if you feel it five feet away,

Is this reasoning correct?

I don't think the Green 8 is amplifying any other EMF sources --
it is simply putting out its own energy which my body doesn't
like. If I take it away, then I no longer feel bad.

And I think you are underestimating how far away people can
sense EMF fields. 3 years ago, I remember feeling bad 15 feet
away from TV set. This was not from any outside fields,
it was the TV set itself. Now, the TV set doesn't bother
me at all.

Marc,

You must have been in a bad state back then. I recall now feeling the television too from a distance, I don't anymore, and it is easy to forget. Iwas so bad, I could not get out in the sun, and I forgot that too. My situation has improved since, but I still cannot talk on the cellular phone, and sometimes not from a regular home phone as well. Some days I cannot use the external keyboard attached to my laptop. There are ups and downs. It coincides with my allergies. When I am bad with EMF I also start sneezing, and there is a soap Ican't use. I am a bit jealous of you for recovering. I wish I could hear recovery stories here in the forum... people telling about what was it that got them better. I fear that whoever is back to full functioning will tend to go back to health land...

EMF considerations

Andrew McAfee
In reply to this post by Hillel Wahrman
Allow me to jump in... When I was at the height of my ES, I had to
unplug the TV even when it was not turned on because I would physically
crash if I were anywhere in the room. It depends on a persons
sensitivity at a particular time in recovery.
Currently, I can watch TV, work at the computer for a couple of hours,
etc and not be fatigued. Same person, different stage of the game.

Yes, I could not spend any time in sun 4 years ago, but
these days I have no problem in the sun. I verified this
last month when I was in Hawaii, and spent hours on the
beach without any problems.

You might find some stories in the message archives.
For example, I gave a summary of what helped me in

A standard EMF detector usually does not correspond to what
people are sensitive to, because the detectors usually
are looking for 50/60 hz fields (or somewhere in around
there), while people may be reacting to fields in the
kiloherz, megahertz, or gigahertz range. I remember
not being able to stand being near my old LCD monitor,
even though the meter read "0.0" from the same distance.

stichting milieuziektes
There are meters and meters.

For low frequency electrical fields.
For low frequency magnetic fields.
Or combined in one.

For high frequency electromagnetic fields.

For static electrical fields.
For static magnetic fields.

TVs radiate in the lower part of the high frequency spectrum.
Many HF meters start measuring at a higher frequency.

Look at http://www.milieuziektes.nl/Pagina112.html and further on.
