Well, I've tried several different models over the years, one was bad, but that could have been the non-SSD hard drive. Also one could react to the display or other components.
My wife has a newer (but still not new) Thinkpad X250. It has Windows 10 on it. This was the last model that came with both an ethernet port and a VGA output port on it, if that matters. The lack of those in latter models could be handled with a docking station and/or adapter I think.
I don't think Windows 10 makes a difference radiation-wise. Other than it wants to send information back over the internet, which can be disabled.
Not sure if all SSDs are tolerable or not. I've been using Intel SSDs from around 5 years ago (the 535 series) and have had no issues with them.
