Hello from new member

Hello everyone,

I just joined the group and have already learned a lot from reviewing
the archives.

Like many list members, I developed ES after years of working on a
computer all day. My ES has spread to power lines, phones, most cars,
etc., and to chemical sensitivity.

I now use an LCD monitor specially shileded for ES by
wwww.milligauss.com.

I'm looking forward to participating in group discussion

I'm curious -- are the monitors sold at this company really any better than
an LCD monitor you would buy at the local computer store? By "better", I
mean less problematic for someone with ES?

I remember several years ago this company was selling LCD monitors that
were 13", monochrome, and didn't have any LCD backlight. Looks like times
have changed....

Marc,

the short answer to your question is--I don't know if it's better. I
wasn't in a position to do trial and error, so I bought what another
ES was able to use. I've had no problem with its EMFs (chemical
fumes were a problem). Of the four other LCD monitors I've used, all
of them ordinary off-the-shelf, I could tolerate three of them, at
least for a short time.

Mine is 14-1/2", color, with speakers, bought five years ago.
