Fulvic Acid supplements

alstrup

Hi All,

Does anyone here have experience with fulvic acid concentrates? Its
use is rooted in chinese and aurvedic medicines, (Wujinsan/Shilajit)
there are appearantly now some very pure products being manufactured
in the US from pristine New Mexico deposits. I have not tested these
yet myself, but would appreciate any practical insights.

A few years ago I tried a few bottles of "Shilagen":

http://www.greathealth.org/shilagen.htm

My goal then was heavy-metal detox, and it was advertised as
helping with that. At the time, it seemed beneficial, but
not beneficial enough to keep on using it...

Also, there are supposedly concerns that fulvic acid + chlorine
causes cancer, so that alone is reason enough to be worried,
since its difficult to keep yourself from being exposed
to chlorine. I don't know how serious this danger really
is, though...

Hi Marc,

Shilajit can contain some fulvic acids, but I have never come aross
any ayurvedic references that it was used against mercury poisoning.

Do you have any references to the chlorine concerns?

Thanks,

Ole

If you do a Google search on "fulvic chlorine", a lot of pages come
up. For example:
