Cromolyn Sodium

Elle
I was watching a presentation with Martin Pall where he mentions (very late in the video) Cromolyn Sodium might be a promising treatment to reduce inflammation for EHS people.

Has anyone tried Cromolyn Sodium?   I am so full of inflammation from being out for less than 45 minutes without my protective cover-clothes and veil.  I will ask my doctor if I can try this.

Elle, have you tried high-dose vitamin D?

It's not really a vitamin, but a hormone, and an immune modulator (which is the important part for inflammation).

I take 50,000 IU per dose, and within about 15-20 minutes, a lot of my pains reduce significantly. Unfortunately it is not permanent, but it helps every time I take it.

The label on the bottle says D3-50 from Bio-Tech.
Maybe worth a try? I think a lot of people may have a deficiency in D.

Hi, you take 50k IU per dose?  whoa!

I was taking D3 at 5,000 IU but cut back as I started taking more sunlight per day outside.
I also bought D2 made from mushrooms to try at 2,000 IU I believe.

The reason is twofold... Some mentioned hearing issues with some D doses or intake method...

And supposedly D supplements can work in different ways (and more than are listed here):

Also, I was just searching older bookmarks for a different topic and found this...

Interesting and sharing since people have been discussing Vit D.

How do I take it? It's a single capsule of 50k. That's how :)

Just 30 minutes in sunlight, and your body will produce 10-50k IU, depending on latitude.
So 50k is really not that much.

The recommended daily dose of 400-800 IU is really a joke, when you figure out what normal sunlight gives you.

I read this book first, with got me interested to try it:

So far I have had no problems. But you may need to add Vitamin K also, which helps the body distribute calcium better.

I also started with lower doses. I used to think Vitamin D was just supplement propaganda, but once I took 50k, and the pain reduced, it was enough evidence for me.

But of course everyone is different. Just forwarding my experience, if someone wants to try it.

Thanks. Yes, I know about the Marshal protocol. Let's just say I decided to disregard it, in favor of experimenting the other way. But the strange thing is, that I still do not like sunlight for some reason, and feel unwell when exposed, but Vitamin D does not seem to create problems. Go figure.

:)

Thanks for the link.  I am afraid to try anything drastic right now.  I am tempted to knock back the inflammation, but will hold off lest anything make my right ear tinnitus worse or hearing loss...

I am still trying to work up the nerve and strength to get so many lab tests from the neurologist.
I might just fall over and die then.  :)  Kidding, not really...   :(

I used to take cromolyn sodium as an inhaler for asthma way back-in-the-day.  I certainly wouldn't be looking to take it without a prescription - the last time I had it it was only available in a nebulizer and it made my lungs worse instead of better for about half-a-day.  There _is_ a plant that the original compound was formulated from, but the thing to know about this stuff is that it only works where it has _direct_ contact, and has a short duration (only four-to-six hours).  Gingko, on the other hand, is actually related to this pharmaceutically, and works well everywhere - it should work better than cromolyn sodium!  Play with that first.

And as far as the neurologist is concerned, unless you really think that you have a serious head injury and/or cancer, DO NOT GET AN MRI!!!  Mine made me _so_ much more sensitive, and the effect lasted until I started getting acupuncture six years later!  And chances are they wouldn't find anything anyway because ES works more on the secondary biophoton nervous system, not the physical one.  You can get an EEG done if you want - that one probably won't hurt you long-term.  Consider yourself warned - nobody warned me.

April, i was thinking about skipping the MRI and just get the numerous labs done when I feel up to it.  Honestly that flu I had was bad and I still feel more rundown than before it struck.

The labs should at least show the inflammation and the possible brain/thyroid malfunction or maybe something more... but I think she suspects Hashimoto Encephalopathy
https://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/hashimoto-encephalopathy/

or Hypothalamic dysfunction
https://www.mountsinai.org/health-library/diseases-conditions/hypothalamic-dysfunction

At least if some "cause" is found that will help decrease my inflammation and maybe more, then maybe ny sensitivity will reduce and I can get weight back on and live normally.

When I say live normally, I mean still staying as far away from cell, wifi and any other form of wireless devices and transmitters.

I still believe the radiation I got in high dose years ago from the 4G flat panels roof-mounted, caused the breakdown to my body as it is today.

The metal didn't help but it's out of my mouth and hopefully leaving my body with detoxing since January...

NO MRI at this time... maybe never.
