Considering an MRI (without contrast)

Elle
I found this link with many helpful suggestions for minerals and supplements to help counter or protect from DNA damage from radiation.

Hope it helps you!

https://www.lifeextension.com/magazine/2010/8/protect-your-dna-from-ct-scans-x-rays

If anyone has had an open MRI without contrast (or ANY MRI without contrast) in the last 1-5 years, was the experience and after effects debilitating or were you able to recover back to where you were (and how long)?

This is a real risk for me, but there are some treatments depending on the findings.
Looking for your experiences specifically with MRIs (open MRI not the closed tube).

Thanks!

my estimation is that a MRI is much worse than a CT-scan.
although it sounds crazy to compare apples with oranges, i'd nevertheless say : 100 x more horrendous.
but everybody will say something different, it is upto you.

Ditto to what Earthworm said - I had an MRI in 2011 to look for any possible damage after I was sensitized and it left me so much worse, like six times as sensitive, until I started seeing my acupuncturist in 2017!  DO NOT DO THIS!  It isn't worth it!  And, almost as bad, I made the mistake of listening to the Beatles #1 hits album in the MRI machine (they give you your choice of what to listen to the thing is so loud) - and I experienced flashback trauma hearing the Fab Four sing anything afterwards for years!

Thanks for the advice.  I thought it would be a mistake but the doctor had me wondering if there was help for certain conditions it might uncover.  In any event I'll not do it unless I gain about 15 pounds and feel less sensitive near electronics and RF.
It can wait.

My mom reminded me - I had an EEG test run just a couple of years back, and if we had been more on top of it, I think we could've turned up something that way.  As it is, they just hook up non-live electrodes to your scalp and show you flashy light-patterns interspersed with periods of rest (you have to sleep for them once).  It's usually ordered to check for seizures, but we suspect that EMF sensitivity would show up if any sort of device could be introduced near your head at some point in time during the test.  Good luck.
